- Owosso Public Schools
- Parent or teacher organizations and booster groups if events are scheduled so as to avoid additional custodial time.
- Athletic programs comprised of no less than 75% Owosso Public Schools students, if events are scheduled so as to avoid additional custodial, grounds, and building supervision time.
- Approved student organizations and scout groups for after school meetings (with appropriate sponsorship and with adequate adult supervision).
- Governmental agencies and non-profit organizations holding public meetings and activities of city-wide interest which involve the public good. Such events must be offered free of charge and with no collection being taken.
NOTE: If admission or entry fees are charged, the organization/group cannot qualify under this category. |
| Category B |
Non-profit organizations of a charitable, civic, cultural, educational, religious or recreational nature, including local churches, clubs, lodges, and organizations such as Kiwanis, Rotary, Community Players, community concerts, Jaycees, YMCA, and city basketball leagues. |
| Category C |
Private independent groups or events such as plays, recitals by dance students and performances for which an admission is charged. All commercial and professional enterprises are included in this section including country western shows, magic shows, circuses, etc., regardless of sponsorship. A facility for use by a commercial road show will only be rented to an appropriate local sponsoring group. No facility will be rented for private social parties. |

Category D is an off-schedule rate provided to authorized individuals or groups that would like to negotiate a separate rate in recognition of volume discounts or in-kind contributions of the District. Such rates are to be approved by the Board. |

Owosso Public Schools events. Any organization or group directly connected with Owosso Public Schools, including, but not limited to: bands, choirs, student council, drama clubs, school sponsored athletics, approved student organizations/clubs, scout groups and other school sponsored or school partner organizations. Governmental agencies and non-profit organizations holding public meetings and activities of city-wide interest which involve the public good. Such events must be offered free of charge and with no collection being taken. NOTE: If admission or entry fees are charged, the organization/group cannot qualify under this category. |

For profit companies hosting events for which an admission is charged. All commercial and professional enterprises are included in this category. Events may include but are not limited to: concerts, magic shows, plays, recitals, dance competitions, theater productions, etc. |
